With a SoCal background and a small beach town attitude “Common Sense” took their reggae-rock influences and created their own style.The “Suffragettes” are an all female cover band, playing songs from the 1970s to the hits of today. They cover many genres including, pop, rock, r&b, country and even a little Latin. The Kalama Brothers play a variety of instruments to recreate cover songs that work with all ages. Having just released their first Hawaiian CD, they are taking steps toward more groove and soul-rock vibes.

National Night Out is a nationwide evening event where communities across the country band together to give crime a “going away party.” This event is fun, free, and festive, with themes based on safety and crime prevention. Neighborhood Watch Groups and businesses are encouraged to register for a booth at the event.

Pack up your family and your tent and camp out in our backyard! Enjoy the evening playing games and other activities and singing campfire songs. Participants must provide their own tents and sleeping bags, and any personal items. Dinner, dessert, and breakfast included. Ages 4 and older must be registered.

Kick off the summer with a ROCKIN’ good time! “The Rockabillys” are family friendly entertainment, playing 50s and 60s/Americana,”Oldies but Goodies” and of course the best Rockabilly music around! Their sound is the perfect soundtrack for any good time event. “Redneck Rodeo” is a tightly tuned Country Music Machine that’ll get your toes tappin’. The Rodeo brings a mix of your favorite classic country numbers and dancin’ songs. “The Swing Kings” are a versatile dance band featuring an extensive playlist. They easily transition from rockin’ swing to the finesse of a traditional 40s Big Band or venture deep into Sinatra-land with lush ballads and famous swingin’ arrangements. They guarantee to move your dancin’ feet!

Car show is open to the public for the first 30 eligible entries. Car entries must be 1975 models or older. If you wish to submit your car as an entry please email ngates@lakeforestca.gov by Friday, June 23.

Help fight the battle against litter and debris! Join other Lake Forest residents and community groups in removing litter from a portion of the Aliso Creek. The City will supply the gloves, trash bags, reacher sticks, volunteer shirt, snacks and beverages. Meet at Cherry Avenue and Fernbank Street (Southwest of Cherry Park). Park on Cherry Avenue. All volunteers such as service organizations, students, scout groups, Kiwinas, teens and adults are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must sign a waiver form. Please wear appropriate footwear, sunscreen, and a hat.

It's Springtime and time for the Skatepark to host its annual egg hunt - a great family friendly event! Come and visit with the Skateboarding Bunny, play in the bounce houses, make crafts and play fun games. There will be an egg hunt zone for ages 4 and under, as well as an all-ages egg hunt zone. The event ends with a color blast, so make sure you have clothes you don't mind getting covered in colors! The egg hunt starts at 11:15 a.m. sharp and the color blast starts at 12:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this very popular event and space is limited.

Don't be late for a very important date! It is time for everyone's springtime favorite - Bunny Blast: "An Egg Wonderland!" Enjoy a fun filled event for the whole family with a day of activities including game booths, entertainment, a DJ and other fun activities! Bring your own bags and baskets, there will be an unconventional egg hunt with egg stations where kids can collect eggs full of candy with an egg station card. The first 1,000 kids can participate in these egg-cellent egg stations! Alice and her Wonderland friends will be there, too. Bring your camera to take pictures with Nectar, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit and Hoppy the Spring Bunny. Hop on down early to take part in all the fun!

Be a part of this annual winter event and hit the snow laden slopes at Pittsford Park! Grab the kids, the camera, and your friends and come play in the snow where sleds and saucers will be available to slide down Mount Pittsford. Each participant must have a signed waiver form on file with the City. There will also be a free snow play area for kids 5 and under open during the entire event.
